Where the Internal and External of Self Awareness Meet
I am a registered Yoga Teacher and have over twelve years experience. As a spiritual seeker, I sought training as a way to delve deeper into my spiritual life, eventually earning a 200 hour certification with Raji Thron of Yoga Synthesis. Yoga isn’t for everyone, yet for those who want to experience Yoga and evolve physically, mentally, and spiritually in a supported, light-hearted environment, this could be the class for you. Classes range from gentle and restorative to level one. My classes are small so that I can focus more on the individual participant.
If you are looking for a class that focuses on breath based movement in a non-competitive environment, call me for group or private instruction. Our philosophy is to keep the body, heart, and mind working in sync.
Consider Yoga and/or meditation for your bridal party or bridal shower.
I have thoroughly enjoyed both Yoga and meditation classes with Jean Marie. She is extremely knowledgeable and shares her wealth of experience. She offers you a challenge but is always there with modifications, props, and alternatives. Her approach is refreshing and inspiring. – Elizabeth P. (Long Valley, NJ)
I teach “Yoga Synthesis” created by my teacher, Raji Thron. The practice incorporates all schools of Yogic thought.
I teach restorative, beginner and level one classes in a non-competitive environment.
Absolutely! And the class sizes are small so I can give individual attention.
Jean Marie is a caring yoga guide and instructor who takes into account the individual needs of her gathering. She is gentile in her approach and spiritual in her yoga practice allowing time for everyone to participate at their comfort level, never pushing anyone to go beyond what they can accomplish, That is not to say that Jean Marie does not challenge us to become better. Instead she encourages us with new poses and explains the benefit for each one. At the end of our yoga class we are given time to relax as the lights are dimmed and music plays softly in the background. – Judith (Chester, NJ)
As a first time yoga student, I did not know what to expect. From the moment when I first walked into Jean Marie’s studio, I felt the warmth and compassion I was hoping for. She greeted me as if we were already good friends. I have been practicing yoga with her for over two years. Her demeanor during the yoga sessions is always very calm and soothing, she encourages us to find the balance between effort and ease. I never realized how much yoga could do for me both physically and spiritually and I truly believe this is due to Jean Marie’s dedication to her students and practice. – Paige S. (Allamuchy, NJ)
